I have nothing against make this new tile impossible for terrain units, maybe it would make the game more dynamic. If this tile work as a water tile, it would be possible to irrigate terrains that border it?

I've been working on this. (Graphics are obviously a placeholder.)

Most of the work is indeed in the map generator.

I'm now thinking that since icebreakers often escort other vessels, it would be good to let other ships exist on the same tile as icebreakers.

The closest we can implement at the moment would be to make icebreakers transports for other boats. It's a bit peculiar-looking but has basically the correct properties of letting a limited number of boats through the ice in a tight convoy. Would need to work out whether attack boats can attack while in 'convoy'; that could let me achieve my goal of not making icebound oceans an important military theatre. (I haven't tried implementing any of this in a ruleset yet.)

Here is some basic frozen water for the trident tileset. It is just a pallette shift of the trident's tundra. I release it any under whatever license it needs to be. If you want to credit me, you can credit me as "The Square Cow".

I am not sure what to do with the grass, because that is what trident joins tiles together with but looks sorta weird.
