I noticed that the crusader in Amplio is on horse and in Trident and Cimpletoon on foot. So whats the move? Getting horses or another cavalier?

I'd vote for horses, because they have 2 move points in civ2 rules, and they are obsolete by Dragons.

Ok, I can make a crusader on horse. Shoudnt be too difficult taking the knight, mirroring him, brightening the armour, adding a red feather to the helm, adding red crosses to a white horse blanket, moving the lance to a horizontal position and using maybe another horse.

I planned the same for the Samurai. Introducing him as an advanced elephant.

Shall I also add a Kalashnikov to the trident fanatic? In Amplio and Cimpletoon he has one, in trident only a scimitar (oriental sabre).

Crusaders also do have "Horse" flag (Pikemen get double defense against them)

What about this fellow?

Edit: and a fanatic with an Ak-47 instead of a sabre.

Maybe they just smell really bad, so you'd want to keep them at a distance. :D
