Maybe upload it to the Freeciv Wiki so that people can append it?
Its still in flux and I rather upload something done on the wiki. But you can also append it from here. After all, here is where the "magic" happens... :P

Does anyone know the source of the aircraft carrier unit? The spec file in Freeciv's source code gives credit to "Captain Nemo" (reference: https://github.com/freeciv/freeciv/blob ... s.spec#L57), but I could not find the Civilization 2 scenario made by Captain Nemo that contains the aircraft carrier sprite in question. Also, does anybody know which real-life aircraft carrier the sprite depicts?

Thank you for the wonderful extra graphics.

Any chance of adding these additional units?
  • Large nuclear-powered aircraft carrier (e.g. CVN-68 Nimitz-class aircraft carrier)
  • Stealth ship (e.g. Zumwalt-class destroyer)

I believe the carrier is from a WWII unit compilation on civfanatics and isn't found on the scenario league website.
If you want specific unit graphics, many ruleset authors in the past have gotten scenario league graphics re-licensed for their rule set. See the thread on repurposed graphics for more details.

I believe the carrier unit he is referring to is from the main amplio distribution.

I was referring to the main units in Amplio, not the extra units in Amplio.

The augmented ruleset for freeciv has a Zumwalt graphic. You might be able to use that.

There are stealth destroyer, supercarrier, and transport aircraft in Elefant pack stage 4. It has cimpletoon units and Preview.zip has the same units but only one direction, suitable for amplio.
