Art required for freeciv proper (2.5)

Open bugs in category "art" (usually missing gfx) are listed with query: http://gna.org/bugs/index.php?group=fre ... ory_id=103

Some art needs are not listed as "bugs", but as "features". Query for those: http://gna.org/patch/index.php?group=fr ... ory_id=103

The bug tickets should say. If some doesn't (or isn't specific enough), add comment there to request more information.

ok! tried that but it doesn't tells me what are the 'art required'.

I don't know what more you want to know than what the bug tickets say. For example bug #20030 lists icons for civ2civ3 ruleset wonders Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus and Mausoleum of Mausolo, bug #20031 says we need road type gfx (same sprites as for Road and Railroad) for Maglev.

New required art ticket: patch #4160. We need gfx for new "Unaccessible" terrain type in freeciv-2.6.

New required art ticket: patch #4166 We need icons for all the event types (message classes sent to client) Attached image shows the feature with current placeholder gfx.

I found this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File ... abulae.jpg and I extracted the rose of winds. I uploaded a new version of terrain1.png, the new terrain inacessible is under jungle.

On a simpler road I just modified the 'artic' into 'bog'
Does this help? But I don't know anything about GFX... :oops:
