Higher contrast tunnels that stick closer to the highway.

In the maybe easier tasks side we have the small icons for alio. This includes at least government icons (Despotism, Communism, Democracy, Dual Communism, Dual Democracy) and specialists (Culturists, Government Merchants, Scientists). However, I wonder if we would want to make these icons in a bit bigger format than those of old standard tilesets. The UI requries some other small icons to be of the same size as these, so they would need remaking too; science progress icons, nuclear winter & global warming icons, tax, sci, lux icons.GriffonSpade wrote:certainly beyond my skill to make it.
How about at least recolorizing our current mountains to something less Earth-like?GriffonSpade wrote:It sounds interesting, in theory. Not sure how well it would actually work out when implemented
JFTR, some images in category:alio are only placeholders, i.e., good enough for the purposes of Freeciv-manual about a year ago. Please overwrite the placeholders with new images when available. The alio redirection to Alien world could be deleted (requires admin rights), and your subpage could then be moved to alio, otherwise an ordinary Wiki search for alio would always end up on Alien world. I linked your subpage at See also, but that's hard to find (and of course Wiki users are not supposed to edit pages or subpages of other users. )cazfi wrote:art missing from "full" alio tileset
Where are these Highway sprites available?GriffonSpade wrote:Higher contrast tunnels that stick closer to the highway.
In the basic roads.png -- it only needed the individual 7 direction parts, rather than needing a full 64 set. (IIRC rails and maglevs were previously in it too, but 64 separate tiles is pretty massive, deserving of their own sheets, so they were stripped out)cazfi wrote:Where are these Highway sprites available?GriffonSpade wrote:Higher contrast tunnels that stick closer to the highway.
