Isometric maps

Post by JTN »

When I was going over Freeciv history last year during the Github migration, I came across some old isometric maps in the old ftp area, contributed long ago by Rob Best and Peter Weber.

Since there aren't many iso maps out there, and the default tileset is isometric, I've tidied these ones up for modern versions of Freeciv (details), and put them up on the modpack server for use with the freeciv-modpack/freeciv-mp* modpack installer utilities. (Named "Isometric map pack". Available for 2.4+, although the maps are actually compatible with 2.3 as well.)

Made this map a while ago. You can add it if you want. The level of detail is very high. I redid every tile manually!
