How to make sea units work with ZoC?

For some reason I can't make that work. Would be nice if the sea units would have ZoC because this way there could be actual naval blockades.

flags = "DamageSlows", "AttackNonNative", "AttFromNonNative", "ZOC"

and there is no ignore ZoC on the actual units. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Check terrains ruleset for the ZoC related properties (flags) of Ocean (& Deep Ocean) terrain. I don't remember off-hand how it worked on 2.5, but terrain definition is the place where you can control it, if anywhere (it could have even been hardcoded behavior of Oceanic terrains in 2.5)

Thanks for helping with this. Without help it sometimes takes ages to figure out something.

I guess it may be hard coded for 2.5 since there are no ZoC settings on the terrain.ruleset file.

The same may apply to airlifting units. I wasn't able to find a setting that would allow airlifting missiles and airplanes.
