I've been playing around with this, and this is what I've discovered: You cannot build an Airstrip or Airbase. Commands from the pop- up menu or direct keyboard entry do not work. Pirates and barbarians
I am wondering, does the computer AI also get attacked by pirates and barbarians? If this is something that only plagues the human player then it's a "feature" I will always ensure to turn off.
