Re: airlift between team nations
Thanks, I didn't know that. So I don't need to have semi-duplicate action enablers like this - [actionenabler_017] action="Help Wonder" actor_reqs={"type","name","range","present" "UnitFlag","HelpWonder","Local",TRUE &qu...

Re: airlift between team nations
Tried it again and it worked - dunno why it didn't before. Tangent - "DiplRel" req has separate values for "Alliance" and "Team", which means you have to have annoying almost duplicated action enablers. If teams are always considered allied, should be no need for the se...

Re: how to turn off autosave?
From the Game Settings dlog, you have to do Apply first, and then Save.

Re: City_Vision_Radius_Sq effect and init_vis_radius_sq
Did some testing with no start units and a start city, and found changing the init_vis_radius_sq value did not affect what's visible, but changing the value of the City_Vision_Radius_Sq effect with no reqs did. So I think init_vis_radius_sq does only affect start units. Filed ticket for 'no City_Vis...

airlift between team nations
In 3.0 you can airlift to/from allies, if airliftingstyle allows it. But team nations can't ally. Would like to be able to airlift to/from team nations.

City_Vision_Radius_Sq effect and init_vis_radius_sq
First I edited the https://freeciv.fandom.com/wiki/Editing_Effects page entry for the City_Radius_Sq effect, adding that the initial value is set by the "init_city_radius_sq = X" in game.ruleset. Then, thinking that the City_Vision_Radius_Sq did something similar with the init_vis_radius_s...

Re: autosaves setting question
Thanks, you are correct - doing Apply and then Save works. And yes the file has to have it in the server section.

autosaves setting question
I'd like to turn off the auto saves of every turn globally, but I can't get that to work. When I change the setting in Game Settings - Internal and do the Save button I see a message in the chat log "Saved settings to file ~/.freeciv/freeciv-client-rc-3.0", but when I look that file doesn'...

Re: things i'd like to be implemented
Intelligence Report (Overview) Player name, Gold already provided. Player title - could be useful in reports. Government - current ticket but note there are plenty of backchannel hacks (effects with gov. predicates). As it happens I have not yet needed Government userdata in any project BUT I could...

Re: Move_Bonus effect with negative value
Duh - now I see it. ; min_speed = Minimum speed after damage and effects (whole movement points) So after applying a Move_Bonus effect, a unit's move rate must be >= its unit class's min_speed setting. But before any Move_Bonus effects have been applied, its move rate can be less (even 0) if that is...
