As far as I know, there is no gameplay difference between the different nationalities. So preference comes down to aesthetics and national pride. I generally play as Canada or Germany.

Action Enablers use actor specific variables.

I was wondering if action Enablers could use actor/target specific variables. So for example, with paradrop action, could the enabler use actor.paradrop range for the action range? If not, maybe such functionality should be added.

Yeah. That's what I thought. It would be cool to have an official android version. Probably be a lot of work, though.

Dunno if this has been fixed or who is responsible for the android tablet version of freeciv (sdl2 client), but it would be much improved with an auto workers button.

Check out the doxygen docs. They are the best docs I have been able to find for the source code. Otherwise, you'll need to look at the code patch by patch to figure out what is going on.

Updated Civ 3 Full with better instructions, an improved tilespec file, and a new chariot graphic (the link to the old one was broken). Fixes trails and artifacts from unit movement.

I believe this tab shows the units on the tile, and when you click them it changes the selected unit. It is used for managing unit stacks.

Latest version. Raytracing cursor location reimplemented, as well as map wrapping beyond just the three duplicates in previous versions.
