I've been playing the game and everything seemed to work fine. But in the last two hours or so, it won't move beyond the set up. What file do I need to show you?

Where does the game save the saved games? I want to go back to an older game but I can't find the saved game files. I need to know the actual location of the saved game files--not to browse.

Arbogast, you're still with XP? It's not the same anymore. Assuming djconklin is on Windows (Temporary internet files kind of points to that direction), here's where they're hiding in my WIn 7 : C:\Users\{myUserName}\AppData\Roaming\.freeciv\saves. No idea where it would be in a Win 8 computer. Not...

for my two bits worth: The saved games are ALL in a '.freeciv\saves' deep inside your 'documents and settings\(user-whatever your name is)\Application Data. By ALL I mean that even if you have several versions of Freeciv, the saved games ALL go there. It can get very big, specially if you save at e...

1. Yes, check game settings at the start (barbarian appearance rate or something). Found it. The lowest I can get is either none or in the huts.
