Re: Trident graphics
Also, are all of these sprites certainly available under GPLv2+? VladimirSlavik made some of the units: http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=675&hilit=Vlad ngunjaca made the rowboat (its a close up of one of the boats for his Amplio graphics) http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic....

Re: Trident graphics
Cool, thanks for doing that! Otherwise they would have just been lost in the oblivion of this forum...That's probably the only sane way to go forward in getting these included to freeciv. Since there was no response in a year, I started doing this myself (for amplio2 units at first).

Re: Cimpletoon graphics
Do you have .blend files for these? The "source" files are required by the GPLv2+ license for them to get included in freeciv. Well, unfortunately my hard drive stopped working, so many of my units are forever lost and so many hours of work... However, I uploaded many of them here last ye...

Re: A Treatise on the Weaponization of Balloons
Exciting! What was the ruleset to which this was going to be attached? No particular ruleset but there are many reasons: -certain units like the tank went through massive changes between WWI and nowadays; yet there is only one single type of tank... -missing type of units like transport aircraft, g...

Re: Middle-Earth multiplayer scenario
Honestly, its about starting it. Take a Middle-Earth map, think about a map size, start the scenario editor and draw the map outlines. Then just place layer over layer... You can check my scenarios for the things you have to think of.

Re: Art, worth it?
No update in a long time and far from done but I found some Heroes of might and magic stuff that you can easily modify and that looks decent at the same time. I like to stay in the realms of reality but a dragon hidden in a scenario might be a fun easter egg... I also thought a mammoth for a possibl...

Re: Middle-Earth multiplayer scenario
No, where is this map hiding? Googling "Games of Freeciv" doesn't turn it up. Its actually in the Scenario Collection link above. Its the third: http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=809#p4670 If its just a map I actually see few problems but bare in mind that the Ai does hi...

Re: Middle-Earth multiplayer scenario
Another post from me (seems I'm the squeaky wheel). I've gathered that some time ago there was a Europe scenario for multiplayer and that people had great fun with it. Would anyone be interested in a Middle-Earth scenario from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings? There were 3 "animated" and 2 sim...
