Freeciv-manual.exe putters!

I tried the Freeciv-manual.exe that comes with versions 2.3.x and 2.4.x and it doesn't come out right. I got empty pages and scrambled ones too due to the coding - instead of 'western europe (windows)' it should be UTF-8, for instance. and then, the images don't show. Among other things... I finally found it! It's this one: Maybe it was not called 'Windows'... No big deal, but I'm looking for GUIs that give a maximum view, like the SDL one. Anyway merci for your attention. While we are at it, maybe you could give a tip or two: *How do I make the name of the author appear in the quotes...

Just to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong, I installed a new 2.4.1-RC1 in another disk. During installation I was asked the language of my choice and chose 'en_GB' and couldn't change to 'en_US' everything was in its default settings. Star Fort in 2.4.0

2.4.0 introduces the 'Star Fort' more expensive than the 'city walls'.
But the help button are identical. :?
