Re: Make tutorial more elegant
1. Support transfer url to svg or png image from client to server Tilesets, sounds and music are the business of the client. It has to work offline. It also has to work for thousands of online players without running freeciv.org or other servers over their bandwidth capacities, or getting freeciv.o...

Re: Change username?
I would just delete the forum account and re-created, except there is no delete option. You are at 5 posts at the moment, 4 in the test forum to get the PM rights required for a PM asking for a rename: Plan B, just forget the account with the wrong name, logout and create a new account with the cor...

Re: [Ruleset] Something like C preprocessor for override directory
#if ruleset_name("civ2civ3") some code #else some other code #endif Yes, I also wished that something like your idea existed in ruleset files, but "rejected" it (=never put it on the wish list here or submitted it as feature request) as violation of the KISS principle: If it is ...

Re: Nations mantainer
It would need an idiot-proof instruccion. A proper subset is idiot-proof : Check old vs. new SVG visually in its file history on the Wiki, if they appear to be identical you need no new PNG flags + shields. That's where my old glasses for old eyes fail, I'd miss minor color changes. If the license ...

Maybe your number of players times minimal native tiles reachable by first start unit, or a similar constraint, needs a bigger map or less playersCorbeau wrote:Any ideas?

Re: AI in v2.6 beta0
2) AI does not seem to take into account the danger of Kill Stack rule. They create large stacks of units that can be killed by one single attack. +1 , but certainly no new 2.6.0-beta0 issue, also not better in beta1. 3) Their attempts to attack unprotected workers are too predictable and mostly us...

Re: Nations mantainer
Referring to this discussion: http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=784 Is the nations mantainer "position" vacant? Yes, methinks there are also about ten totally passive Wiki admin positions vacant, not counting JTN and Cazfi, who are busy with more important stuff, also no...

Re: New musicpack!
Bump for later, anything good with CC-BY-SA 4.0 might contain parts suited for the Wiki (less than 10 MB or found on a site supported by [s]FANDOM[/s] Wikia ), but I'm not testing 125 MB now , maybe later this year. Later = yesterday: I tested 1 hour of WLAN speed before risking € 30 for a com...

Re: Ruledit development news
See no ruledit.exe (or even ruleup.exe) in 2.6.0-beta1, is that as it should be? Not seriously planning to use it before 3.0, but for that my ruleset should at least survive the "load and show stats" feature.
