Re: Q: Unit upkeep and free units

In the wiki page about editing rulesets, in the section about effects, at the line about Unit_Upkeep_Free_Per_City, it says:
In each city amount of units are free from upkeep. As usual, you can use with OutputType requirement to specify which kind of upkeep this should be.

Re: Art required for freeciv proper (2.5 & 2.6)

I like JTN's art as well, and would favour it over mine. I like how the shield graphics are suggestive of heads.

Re: Art required for freeciv proper (2.5 & 2.6)

We're also missing flag for "Animal Kingdom" barbarian nation. patch #5577. Here are some animal kingdom flags. They are based on paw prints. It does look sort of friendly which could be bad. I tried drawing eyes but it didn't work. If you decide to use them, you can sight me as "The...

Re: Additional Government Types

Deleting all the references to it should work (though preferable in your own mod based on civ2civ3 instead of just changing civ2civ3 proper.) To do that, I would delete the government from the government file, and then keep running Freeciv and fixing the errors that it reports. You should need to re...

Re: Effects of United Nations

Yes, if someone has built United Nations, someone has built Manhattan Project, that particular player knows Nuclear Fission, and no one has built the Apollo Program, then that particular player will have "diplomatic restrictions". Basically, this implies that if the United Nations has been...

Trident inaccessible tiles

Here are some tiles for inaccessible tiles in trident. You any or all of them if you like. The stripey tile could play poorly with the "non-native tile" overlay when that is displayed. (I am putting these in the public domain, but I would appreciate being cited as "The Square Cow"...

The second set of railroads in trident

I noticed that the roads.png graphics for trident includes a second set of railroads that are currently unused. In the case of nothing else, couldn't we use them for the maglev for the experimental ruleset, maybe after dying them grey?
