Old stable release 2.5.12
2.5.12 is intended to be the final bugfix release in the 2.5 series, for anyone who's not ready for 2.6. See the full list of changes . Source code is available in the usual places . Compiled Windows packages are not available yet, but should hopefully arrive shortly; we'll post again here when they...

Re: how to define effects?
The middle-click display shows the inherent base output of the tile, independent of the city and player that's currently working it. If two cities could work the tile, they could get different output, if only one had a Steel Mill. (In 2.5, the middle-click display sometimes misses even inherent tile...

Re: "Reload Current Tileset"
Well, there's the menu item "Reload Tileset" on the "File" menu in the Gtk clients (Ctrl-Alt-R). However, that is only activated in --enable-debug builds. (In regular builds it's always greyed out, but left on the menu. I imagine that's a bit maddening.) The 2.6 Qt client appears...

Re: cultural victory option : the majority of world's culture
Good question. AI does not currently seek culture points, even if regular culture victory is enabled.

Re: RoundSquare tileset
I have general question: what if certain tile production exceed 9, for example 10: did I get 10? and what is displayed in case of pip or standard numbers? Clamped to 9? I'm asking because want to know, how much my ruleset is messing with such display system. As far as I can tell, there were no grap...

Re: cultural victory option : the majority of world's culture
I think you could disable the built-in cultural victory and implement your own criteria with Lua (Player):victory() -- players' culture is available to Lua with (Player):culture(), checked on the turn_started signal. (Haven't tried it.)

Isometric maps
When I was going over Freeciv history last year during the Github migration, I came across some old isometric maps in the old ftp area , contributed long ago by Rob Best and Peter Weber. Since there aren't many iso maps out there, and the default tileset is isometric, I've tidied these ones up for m...
