To make your cities grow quickly invest in entertainment, trade, and luxury to the point that your city is celebrating. There has to be no unhappy or angry citizens. There has to be at least 50% happy citizen...

For a few episodes its about the end of the western Roman empire the one based in Rome. He also spends time on the eastern Roman empire, the one based in Co...

Another way I could have solved it was to edit the windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file (I think that's whe...

Re: Can we get HTTPS?

bump Yes, I am using password that I don't use anywhere else. However, I agree that we should be using https://. Google Chrome on my Chromebook is saying this website is "Not Secure" in the address bar. Here's Google's comment: https://security.googleblog.com/2018/02/a-secure-web-is-here-t...

I thought the dev team for freeciv-web might like to know that their work is appreciated. I play Freeciv-web because I can play it in my LazyBoy chair on my ChromeBook. I play Freeciv-web because I can play it on my company provided laptop (that is locked down-can't install Freeciv) while I am trave...

Oxymoron: monetizing Freeciv-web

First of all, there should be always be a free version of freeciv web! Second, Andreas, if you ever happen to read this, please accept my thanks for all the time you have put into maintaining freeciv-web! I do appreciate it. However, Is there a way for features of freeciv be monetized to support Fre...

Re: trying to play 2.5.10 on window client/server, can't connect

installed telnet on windows
I could telnet on port 5556 and could tell that it was waiting for a response, in contrast to trying to telnet to port 5557, which said connection denied.

Will repeat with 2.5.11 when available and see what happens
