Re: Inspired by Game of Thrones, Westeros as a custom imaginary nation
U should aim higher - create custom ruleset, tileset, create proper houses/nations,even sounds :D, add some scenarios and more. I made a GoT scenario years ago and we played a few turns at Greatturn until it collapsed. The GT-version was the final version with civ2/civ3 but it stopped function so I...

Europe 1900 WWI (2.0)
Hi everyone, 102 years ago WWI began and I had long planed to refurbished the WWI 1901 scenario. So here it is! What has changed: -Railways "streamedlined" to only feature the main railway lines according to a map of 1899. -populations aprox. adjusted proportionally to their size in 1900 (...

Re: Change teams for a scenario via text editor
Related questions: how do I change the ruleset of a scenario? I tried it manually with the text editor without recompressing but it won't work. I asked panther if we could organize an online match with the Spanish Civil War scenario (default ruleset) but he required it to be with civ2civ3. Any ideas...

Global warming and sinking of cities
Shoudn't cities sink with global warming? It looks odd at a later stage of the game when even small cities on lower terrian levels survive the flooding. A dam structure could antagonise this effect giving each player a fair chance?

Playing a scenario by "play-by-email"
Is there any chance to play a scenario by "play-by-email? (from one of those: http://forum.freeciv.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=809"? ) Playing alone is not so much fun. Getting a game ahead at longturn is not getting out of the planing stages since almost a year. Metaserver is not reall...

linearity tech tree
Surely Im not the first in posting this but it would be great if the tech tree would have more dead ends with (maybe) cheaper technology that in the long run doesn't bring you further but that brings you a tactical advantage with new units for example (crosbow shooters, zeppelins etc.) The demand fo...
