Re: Freeciv-Web the most frequent action over units

Hi Skipass, This is an interesting suggestion. I would guess that the most frequent used action after a unit has been selected is the GOTO command, but I don't have any statistics about this yet. How do you suggest we change the right mouse button? Perhaps this behaviour should be configurable in so...

Re: Longturn

hey nimrod, Want to buy some hot files? What can you do with them? Can they stored here fer inztance? I'm willing to put up Davide's price, but I can't 'house' them in my machine. So what do you suggest? I would suggest that if you buy the files, then you put them on github.com with an open source ...

Re: Help! "Loading game failed (ajax failed)"

Can someone please tell me why I can't load my game all of a sudden? Tried to load a game on multiple computers with no luck. Help! Hi there dbsoule55, I'm sorry to say that some savegames have been lost from the Freeciv-web server today. I will try to not make this happen again. Saving and loading...

Re: Message Window Not Loading! Please Help!

At 1280x800 screen resolution, you should get the normal size of the user interface, not the mobile-version. Perhaps this is related to the zoom level on the page, so that the Javascript incorrectly detects the mobile-version. What is you zoom level? Could you try reducing the zoom-level on the fron...

Re: Longturn

Well, if donations is the quickest way to get hold of the Civland files, let's do it! As for the ethics of Davide's attitude... just don't let it bother you: the important thing is getting those files. I think that Davide should put the source code of Civland and Greatturn on Github, free for anyon...

Re: Message Window Not Loading! Please Help!

The message window, and the overview map and unit info box are hidden on devices with small screen resolutions. Freeciv-web will try to adapt the user interface if you are using a mobile or tablet device, which often have smaller screens and less processing power. SO on devices with small screens, y...

Re: [FREECIV-SERVER] - Command line access

If you're already running server from cron, you might be interested about pubcaz when I get it fully available. Repository is in https://github.com/cazfi/pubcaz It's great that you are working on a system for running Freeciv servers on a public server. pubcaz will probably share a lot of functional...

Re: Longturn

Now, when you are talking about donations to greatturn in freeciv proper forums, have you ever donated to this (freeciv) project? There can hardly be any forks like longturn or greatturn if freeciv itself cannot afford servers to run the development. http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/Donations (It feel...

Freeciv-Web now accepted in the Windows Store

Freeciv-web , the HTML5 version of Freeciv playable in a browser, is now available in the Windows Store . If you have a Windows 8.1 installation, then please install it, give it a try, and report what you think here. This listing in the Windows Store is mostly a convenient way for users of Microsof...

Re: freeciv-web bugs

Hello AndreasR, I'm new to the board, but I've been playing freeciv for years, both on my PC and now online using my iPad. I love it! You guys are doing an awesome job. :D Being able to play on the iPad has been a life-saver for me. I now prefer it over playing on the PC. However, there are a few i...
