Re: After turn 100 pirates come with muskets

Barbarians having Musketeers would indicate that some player has them too - barbarians get such advanced units (only) when someone else has them. I'm not sure what setting you were referring to, but note that client settings (configuration of the user interface) is separate from server settings (gam...

Re: free civ online possible bugs/wish list

Edit: It's also possible for the player to produce railroads from the beginning. If you have already built a road, then you can press the 'R' button and build a railroad with your very first workers. Andreas: Is freeciv-web currently based on freeciv version that has requirement lists moved from ro...

Re: free civ online possible bugs/wish list

5. You may be correct about other civ games Just to clarify. By the "other clients" Andreas meant regular freeciv, not web version. I'm not sure if any client currently makes it possible for diplomat to enter allied city, but that's more like gui design problem than rule of the game - ai ...

Re: Saved game Doesn't Load

Seems like there's something wrong with your saved game as it complains about being unable to set "generator" value as "disabled". Could you report this to bug tracker and attach your savegame to the report?

Re: free civ online possible bugs/wish list

3, My saved game from last week loads without any terrain improvements. I have tried to load a few different games and none work. Did something change? Freeciv-web follows freeciv development version. Savegame compatibility in development version was broken a couple of days ago. It loads savegames ...

Re: Where Are the Specialists?

Another useful feature would be the possibility to transfer unit ownership for support purposes. So if a unit is sitting inside city B but this unit was built by city A, there could be the option to transfer that unit's support burden to city B. That's H)ome command, but I don't know if freeciv-web...

Re: Yep--too hard to beat!

Nothing saves 2.3, and 2.4 receives only improvements that are considered bugfixes, but I'm quite pleased with some AI improvements I've managed to implement lately. I'm battling against myself - can I make AI good enough for it to challenge me as a player? Of course, improvements to one thing often...
