Re: Play Freeciv Online.
You know, there's the Freeciv metaserver. If a server is announced at the metaserver, other players can see it and connect to it.

Re: What are the requirements to build Supermarket?
You probably just put the Supermarket into the list twice, and when it was done building it, it couldn't build it again. That's why it gave you the second message. Btw, I think this should go into "Tech support" or "General discussion". EDIT: And to answer the original question: ...

Re: Default3+ Ruleset
Good work, this makes it even easier for me to overrun my medieval enemies with Helicopters in Island games
I might be down-dating this ruleset to 2.3.4 for those who don't want to play on the 2.4.0-beta, if you allow me to(it's your creation, you own the rights).

An idea for the effects managing
This idea is something that would make things easier for ruleset creators when handling effects . The plan is to make it possible to create custom values by defining something like "Barracks_Effect" in the beginning of the file and later setting it as effect_*.name (the "output" ...

Re: I keep getting kicked (Civ2)
When I play with anything but the default ruleset, I always run a server, that always works for me.

Re: More than one city field for larger cities
One can't force migration, and if the cities aren't very small, it's not possible to move the one city to the other by using settlers.syntron wrote:Merging cities next to each other can be forced by migration.

Re: More than one city field for larger cities
I have some questions. * Can a city in a frontier grow to outside the country? If so, it would be controlled by me or by the owner of the other country? I think, this could depend on the diplomatic state, just like unit movement and settlement do already. If I'm allied or in peace with another play...

Re: More than one city field for larger cities
I think it sounds interesting, but there's a problem with the radius: Radii are measured in its square value. so, for example, standard City radius 2 uses a radius_sq value of 5, small radius of 1 uses 2, radius 3 uses 10 (I think) and so on and so forth. I had already though about that, but it is r...

Re: Bring early trireme attacks back from death
Yeah, that's how I understood it. The Raft in the Alien World ruleset has the flag. One could get back to the old style by writing a script checking for every Trireme wether it's next to land or not. Then, based on techs, wonders etc. the script may delete the Trireme with some chance. Then you'd on...
