Re: Undo last move

Unfortunately a single-move Undo button would be really hard to implement in Freeciv as it's currently implemented. When you do an action, its consequences on the world are enacted on the game data in such a way that they can't be rolled back. Trying to change that would be a massive and error-prone...

Re: Tileset questions

I'm not sure where to ask these questions. Here is good... I'm making a tileset based on the original CivDOS graphics. ( it's beautiful ) That it is. 1) Is it possible to put the flag icon in-front/on-top of the unit icon? Not sure I understand exactly what you mean. If you want the existing flags ...

Re: Two new nations: Formosan and Khoisan

Not sure if our nations maintainer, mixcoatl, is watching here. You might be better posting these to the Gna patch tracker in the "rulesets" category and assigning them to mixcoatl for review. (I've checked and we don't seem to have either of these on trunk or in pending patches.)

Play Freeciv online at play.freeciv.org

The web version of Freeciv is back online at play.freeciv.org ! Thanks to cazfi and AndreasR for their hard work to bring this back online (it was formerly known as freeciv.net). It is currently somewhat experimental, so we welcome feedback on what needs improving. Thanks also to Per for organising ...

Re: [done] Server move: forum downtime, metaserver disruptio

Forum and metaserver are now moved to the new hosting, and DNS updates should have propagated around the Internet by now. People operating public servers that were running during the switchover will probably need to do this to get their servers to notice the new IP: metaconnection down metaconnectio...

Re: Combat Animation Not Displaying

I just installed FreeCiv 2.3.2 from the Ubuntu repository on my brand new Kubuntu 13.04 64 bit. Everything works fine, except the combat animations. They are not displaying at all. The setting for display animation is set, and I tried various settings for the animation delay (10 to 1000). The only ...

[done] Server move: forum downtime, metaserver disruption

Some time in the next few days we'll be moving most of freeciv.org hosting to a new server. We'll have to take this forum offline (hopefully briefly), and there will also be disruption to the metaserver for at least an hour or so. I don't have an exact date yet. (Some freeciv.org content such as sta...
