Thank you for this information. Many users have this problem and I didn't know what happened. My Android version is 5.1 so it allows access to storage by default.

Re: Blue/Purple Screen on New Android

Hi,
A new release has been published some days ago. Can you confirm that this bug still happens if "force 4x msaa" option is disabled?
On the main menu, the last version is shown as 2.6.10.

Re: Blue/Purple Screen on New Android

Hello,
I'm sorry to answer only now because I don't often read this forum. Can you try the beta release? If the problem persists, can you post screenshots?

Re: How to play a scenario with amplio2 in Freeciv 2.6 ?

Thank you for your response. There is no need to start the server separately, but I had to force the value "amplio2" even if it was not proposed by the list.

Re: How to get city pop-up, select unit on Android?

Just do a single tap. If it doesn't work, there is a bug. If the map is too small, did you try to zoom? Please make sure you have the last update because the zoom function was broken on some devices and I had to make a second release to fix it. If it still doesn't work, can you give more information...

Freeciv upgrade on Google Play and known issue

Yesterday, Freeciv have been updated on Google Play as a main release. There is a known issue when loading old games: all graphics have changed, and many people would find it ugly. unnamed.jpg I've found some ways to turn around this problem: Start a new game, the graphics will display fine. (And yo...

How to play a scenario with amplio2 in Freeciv 2.6 ?

It seems that in version 2.5, differences between isometric and non-isometric rectangular tiles are display differences only, so that it is possible to load a non-isometric savegame with an isometric client. In version 2.6, scenario savegames are non-isometric, so now the client automatically select...

Re: Transport work speed for Oil Platform (Freeciv-2.6)

Thank you. I should more often use the Help Browser instead of README.civ2civ3.

I've done my tests with a Magellan's Expedition. In this case transport move speed is 6 but work speed is still 5.

Transport work speed for Oil Platform (Freeciv-2.6)

I've tested civ2civ3 on Freeciv-2.6 how to know many turns it takes for a transport to build an oil platform. Basically it takes 2 turns even if it's veteran. With the help of an engineer it takes 1 turn only if both are veteran. So I guess oil platform build cost is 10 turns, and transport work spe...

Re: Bombardment: probability to damage a unit

Thank you, I understand now: 1 bombardment = 1 combat round, taking into account attack and defense strength and multipliers. I believed there was a bug but I didn't see that migrants had 20 HP. This explains why they are less damaged (visually from the HP bar). I also understand now why sam battery...
