Re: amplio2hexbig tileset
The amplio2hexbig 1.7d currently available for 2.5 via the modpack installer is missing some of the 2.5 nations in its flags.spec, which means flags for those nations don't display properly. It should be just a case of adding the relevant names to flags.spec, I think. I don't expect the set of natio...

Re: 2.5 (unstable beta) mod ruleset bug
Your earlier report: Upon 'Never'ing a technology (Railroad) and starting a game i received this (nonfatal) error message in the chat log. [...] After going into buildings.ruleset and changing the obsoleting technology to Industrialization (or None on a different try) it still yields this error mess...

Re: 2.5 (unstable beta) mod ruleset bug
When the 16th unit flag (of the ones defined in [control]), is set to a unit, it gives this non-critical failure message upon starting a game (above and below lines included for reference) in precalc_one() [../../../../common/unittype.c::770]: assertion 'j == n_with_role' failed. Please report this...

Re: AI settlers do nothing
I've noticed that AI never improves terrain around its cities. I play Freeciv 2.4.1 with civ2 ruleset. Is it a bug or AI does improve terrain in other rulesets? I haven't tried these. The AI certainly does improve terrain in rulesets like 'default' and 'civ2civ3'. I wonder if it's got into the habi...

Re: how to see debug messages?
I still don't know the answer to the previous question, I change the debug level in the file.c as a workaround... FWIW, I don't know either, and I haven't investigated. I use ./fcser to launch the game from the source folder (after make, without make install). But savegames are created in the main ...

Re: amplio2hexbig tileset
Something I've noticed is that some sprite isn't sufficiently "hexified", as overlapping rectangles show up in a couple of situations: boxy.png One thing that shows this is showing city workers with shift-alt-right-click on city, which puts a coloured overlay on the city's surroundings. An...

Stable release 2.4.2
2.4.2 is a bugfix release. Among other things, it fixes an important pathfinding bug which could cause unattended aircraft to run out of fuel and crash. See the full list of changes . Source code is available in the usual place . Compiled Windows packages aren't available yet, but should hopefully a...
