Re: Civil War Source?

Does anybody knows where is the settings for civil war on the source code of the game, at Github? Start at server/settings.c near line 2379, but that's only about the setting help+type+default+category (sociology in this case) etc.: GEN_INT("civilwarsize", game.server.civilwarsize, SSET_R...

Other ships

If you ever need more "ancient ships" (recently discussed in another thread ): I've now extended six Freecol ships to 128x96, scaled down to 64x48, and uploaded the result to category:other ships on the Wiki. It's not intended for the tileset clearinghouse at the moment, just some known fr...

ruleup wish

Please correct me: So far I think that ruleup 3.0 can read a 2.6 ruleset, and save it in a format suited for 3.0; approximating the old 2.6 behaviour as far as possible with new 3.0 features. That would be great, but presumably unsuited for a quick line-oriented diff to see what was changed. An addi...

phpBB 3.1.x

In July the phpBB folks released 3.1.11 fixing three security issues, and while at it they mentioned that they'll drop 3.1.x in December 2017. IOW, unless they change their plans you'll need 3.2.1 (or later) here in 2018. And I'd still like a decent favicon.ico in the root directory of forum.freeciv...

Re: Postęp game

I think you understood my idea. Yes, nice, and at some point in time please add one spam link to your progress, because google refuses to tell me anything about progress game or similar. Remotely related, something with survives is completely wrong from my PoV: Maybe some custom effects (in the dir...

Re: Admin(s) behaviour and the Freeciv community in general

(shouldn't take many hours with any ruleset) About a year ago I wrote something about 50 hours . Meanwhile with an apparently working ruleset I think 200h is more realistic, but admittedly this includes the time to learn Lua from scratch and overwrite default.lua signal handlers in script.lua just ...

Re: Oil Wells do not appear on map

I'm not quite sure, maybe this issue is covered by HRM 696029, and presumably it was (or still is) not limited to Freeciv-web.

Squeezed into only eight new HRM issues: 706407, 707576, 707579, 707580, 707595, 707793, 707881, and 708934. With two exceptions perfectly suited for the new Nations maintainer, when you (=somebody, no idea how this works) appointed him. :P

Okay, JFTR, first you did a detach for your original nation, then your take for another nation apparently worked as it should, but you couldn't continue the game after leaving edit mode. If that's what happened I'm also curious how this is supposed to work.
