to make tech trees simpler

This is just food for thoughts, not exactly a request. Sometimes one of req1/req2 is useless because the other already needs it indirectly. Maybe removing a few lines out of a somehow convoluted tech tree would make it a little more readable ? Known list of duplicate dependencies (as of civ2/classic...

Re: two bugs in a row

Is there a reason you can't share also your ruleset? What sounds like a easy thing to debug (because of reproducibility) is going to be very hard hunt otherwise. Well, i could, but it's 2.5.x only so you can't test on 2.6+ (it DOES crash on 2.6 too, see below). So far, I haven't been able to reprod...

Re: two bugs in a row

What you did does not trigger the problem. As suggested, it's linked with "dc" entry (i.e. your city must have a non up-to-date version in that tab for this to work). So create your city, visit it, then leave it alone (away from any unit able to view it). Of course, must be an enemy city, ...

Re: two bugs in a row

Possibly (though it's probably more likely to be 127). Did removing some of the units solve the problem? Because if so, this is worthy of a proper report over on HRM. (If not, we'll really need the save and ruleset to figure anything more out.) Yes, removing some of the units actually solved the pr...

Re: two bugs in a row

Could you upload the last save from before the crash? That will be difficult. You'd need the whole ruleset with it because it's far from being standard (and attempt to apply standard rules again with that save, only gets assertion errors). Also, what Freeciv version are you using? Both 2.5.9 and 2....

Re: two bugs in a row

Well, it appears it's not THAT difficult to reproduce. At least, from my current game.
I have a barb city which I cannot approach with a unit : it always triggers the problem.

two bugs in a row

Don't know how to reproduce. Happened only once in hours of game play. But that's once too much and there are two errors. The main window suddenly disappeared right after i've moved some unit, returning to menu as if i'd have selected to disconnect. In the log was the following message : Rupture de ...

Re: New victory types.

That would simply be a shortcut to military victory because if half of the world population is yours, then the final conquest is only a formality. I kinda like that kind of formality, destroying harmless civilizations  You have right - the idea must be polished. But I clarify, that smaller...

clear destroyed_wonders via script ?

Hi,

I've had the idea to add new UNESCO wonder that would allow to rebuild destroyed wonders.
I can have the effect "by hand" by hacking the saved game, but it's quite impractical for playing ;)

So, is there a "normal" way to affect this field ?

Re: New victory types.

But, more than 50% of people ARE my country (usually). And they are happy enough. Does that mean I will automatically get diplomatic victory even if i never actually did any diplomatic action at all ?
