Can't Save Isotrident Games

I've been playing some freeciv-web games on isotrident the last couple weeks without any issues. However, today I found I am unable to make any new saves. Are other players experiencing this as well? While in the game I go to the Options menu at the top and save, and it tells me my game was saved, b...

Re: Cheating AI

Then my barracks stink. There are three versions of the barracks. As your technology progresses, your existing barracks become obsolete and you have to build new ones. Make sure that your cities still have an active barracks in them, because if it was rendered obsolete, it disappears and won't heal...

Re: Freeciv-web Saved Game Repeats

Was another version just put out? My game seemed to freeze up for a moment. Afterward, I was able to save my game, but it was like my problem above where loading it takes me back to a previous save. I guess that was just a coincidence. After my first two saving attempts failed, I have now been able...

There also doesn't appear to be a command for engineers to transform terrain, as described in the manual.

Re: Freeciv-web Saved Game Repeats

I have made several improvements to the loading of savegames, so I think that this problem has been solved now. Could you please test saving and loading some games, and let me know if it works the way you expect it to now? Andreas When I first loaded a saved game and it asked me to choose a player ...

Re: Freeciv-web Saved Game Repeats

For the first problem I had, I think it was actually just a one-off error.... Now, I've continued my game awhile, through multiple saves and loads, and everything is fine. I had this happen again. I had a game saved in 140 CE. I loaded that save and played for a few turns, reaching 180 CE. When I c...

Re: Freeciv-web Saved Game Repeats

For the first problem I had, I think it was actually just a one-off error. Here's what happened: I saved my game at turn 84, creating my 19th save, and then exited the game. Later, I loaded that 19th save and played for awhile, creating my 20th save and leaving again. Then, when I loaded the 20th sa...

Population Discrepancy in Freeciv-web

On the main map of Freeciv-web, the bottom of the page lists my current population as 560000. But on the Nation menu under Demographics, it says I have a population of 1,170,000. I've been watching this for awhile, and the population stat under Demographics is always a little more than twice the sta...

Re: Where Are the Specialists?

You might be able to starve a city though if you build multiple settlers to reduce it down to size 1, since these will then require food support from the city. After then turning the last remaining citizen into a specialist, the strain on the food supply from supporting those settlers might do the ...
