Re: Art required for freeciv proper

Hello,

I've made something for Star Fort. It does not look like Amplio2 icons yet, but I provide the source (and as it's vector graphics, it's quite easy to modify) :-).

PS: GPL V2+ of course

Re: Weird AI behavior while mapbuilding

Hello,

(although it's hidden among lots of other stuff, I wonder if we should make this more obvious?)

Under Linux, you could write

Code: Select all

fcser -d 3 | grep "newzealand"

but the prompt would then be unusable.

Re: FreeCiv windows or linux

Hello, Wouldn't it be easier to use a PPA or Open Build Service ? It would allow automatic updates of Freeciv and easier installation on existing systems. Creating the ISO would just be a matter of modifying software sources to include the repo and adding/installing the packages. I'm willing to help...

Fuzzy map and positions

Hello, Here is yet another wishlist, divided in two parts... 1- Fuzzy map Currently, you can send explorers very far without having to fear inexact knowledge. On small maps, you can explore pretty much everything in the early game, and you know the terrain you did see once is what you'll find 3000 y...

Re: Changes in what a rule set can do

Should anyone think of a good reason to make it possible let me know and I'll move the restriction to the rule set. Let's say I'm in the following situation: * For some reason, my spy units cannot enter territory of player A, and A doesn't want to give me an ambassady. * Player B is attacking A. So...

Re: Freeciv-manual.exe putters!

Works ok for me in Rekonq (Webkit-based) and Konqueror (KHTML).
Doesn't work in Firefox 23.0.

Re: new FreeCiv mod development - NExtended

Looks promising ! Here are some suggestions for the tech tree : * Add "General relativity" as a requirement for both "Nuclear fission", GPS and maybe "Advance Balistics" * Move "Particle physics" to the early 20th century or add "Quantum mecanics" th...

Re: Browser version does not work in Chrome

Hello,

It doesn't work in QtWebKit 4.8.1 (Rekonq). All Webkit browsers seem to be affected.
Konqueror also fails to load the game, but Konq is not as important as Chrome & al.
