That would explain a lot. I prefer largepoxing and my cities are often 20-30 sized.

Borders

I have a problem. I'm not sure if this is in right place but here it goes: When I play single player and reach first place at technology my borders start expand by themselves taking neighbours ground and surrounding their cities. I checked rules for some setting for that, there was one about borders...

When I saw this technology tree, I looked like ---> :o This is very nice idea and I'm in love with this mod. I haven't ever wanted to go too long in technology. :lol: Keep up going goood work!

Nuclear bomb

I would like to hear what people here think about nuclear bomb's power. In my opinion it is too weak. In last game what I ended I launched nuclear bomb to enemy size 8 town and its size reduced only two points. I think every town in this world would fall in to ruins by using nuclear bomb.

http://i41.tinypic.com/vr7v6e.png This is my wish: I would like to play in hexagon maps, but... little thing irritates and it is on movement :x In this image, you see red stickman(soldier) in hexagon map. In Freeciv soldier can move to tiles which have red dot. I don't see sense that soldier can't ...

If I right understood, you can change it before game starts, button "more settings" or something like that, there is button "science" and there is "technology costs percentage" or somethibg like that, im not sure because my language is finnish. Maybe this helps.

How much cities you have, do you play small map? In default settings, turn 95, I had 11 cities and 3 settlers going to make new cities and gunpowder researched. No AI players, normal level barbarians coming in turn 60 to world.

Do you play with default settings? I'll try how fast I can research gunpowder.
