Re: How to make food supplies routes?

Hello! My problem: I want make food supplies routes with trucks, but when I sent Trucks and make a route, i don't see a option to food supply! How to make it? (sorry for bad english, I'm from Poland) You can't do that directly, but if your purpose is to grow a city really fast, you can send settler...

Re: Can you help improve your favourite game? // GameLoss

I was just thinking about GameLoss-Civilwar-thing and came up with this: Maybe about half of the cities could join the player who killed the GameLoss unit, the other cities get to be controlled by allies of the dead player(if he has any), or become barbarian/pirate cities. This is just my idea thou...

Re: Place to keep art resources relevant to Freeciv

I am afraid there is no a simple recipe for everything. It takes practice for every tool. It took about a year for me to learn basics of BIG-bundle (Blender+Inkscape+Gimp). Now I am capable of not only using the someone else's models and render/process them (which is not hard and taking into accoun...

Re: my wishlist

Would it be possible to modify the game so that one could study an era in far more detail? For instance, Paradox makes a series of historical games ranging from the 1490's through the Victorian era to WW2. Part of what makes it interesting is the amount of detail one can go into in research--especi...

Re: Place to keep art resources relevant to Freeciv

I can not say which ones are more important, but say we are talking about unit set and some ruleset requires an elephant unit. Here is a nice elephant blender model: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/18009. It would be nice to have it in the Freeciv database just in case someone decides to work ...

Re: my wishlist

Have a screen which lists all of the variables* in the game and let us set the values. * I'd prefer not to have any constants in the game. I know this in not complete by far, but, in the clients chat window there is a line from where can issue commands. Type /show (note the slash at the beginning)....

Re: Can you help improve your favourite game? // GameLoss

I have some issues about the GameLoss, referring to version 2.4.99. In the future, please tell the revision number too when referring to development versions. <You may embed only 3 quotes within each other.> Path: . Re: GameLoss and civil war

When civil war occurs, the new AI plaer does not have a GameLoss figure. If someone could give me a hint on where to start I would like to try fixing it. This is certainly not as simple question as you seem to think. What's you use-case? Why should new player have GameLoss unit? There's no new unit...

Re: GameLoss, AI and AIUNIT_DEFEND_HOME

I did a little debugging to see what causes the AI Leaders to go out and take a fatal risk. The unit_data->task was either None or Defend home, and, rarely, recover. Defend home was also the state of the enemy hordes that swept against my borders.. A rather aggressive way to "defend home"...

Re: Can you help improve your favourite game? // GameLoss

I have some issues about the GameLoss, referring to version 2.4.99. In the future, please tell the revision number too when referring to development versions. Where can I see the revision number? 1) When I lose my leader, my client just wont be able to interact with the server any more. Maybe this ...
