Looks like it cannot use any network address or maybe given port is used.
try:
freeciv-server -b 127.0.0.1
or
freeciv-server -p 15550

Probably server is badly built, try that Mac installers from here : viewforum.php?f=4 ?

You must have libtoolize installed to compile freeciv.
Download the appropriate package for your distribution,
or get the source tarball at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/libtool/


It probably stops because you miss libtool ?

Have you checked that everyone clicked end turn ? In F3 - nations reports there is status moving or done ? One of you must cheated about clicking end turn to have laugh on you :D You could just set timeout for turn ( with /set timeout secs_number) and turn would change. Or maybe someone left without...

I've did quick test. Created new account, saved game and I was able to load that game again. It might be buggy, and u need to create new account every X saves :D. There is not much micromanagment. Use h shortcut - just move unit to city press h, and home is changed. In middle game you can build city size 1 on coal or mine, set citizen to elvis, with railroad city on coal will upkeep 7 unhappy units, normal hill 4 without any unhappiness. You can also use Shea...
