It's heavier with the additional modules, so it's slower if you have the same number of engines to provide the thrust.

I compiled an freeciv-3.1 modpack installable with the modpack installer utility that comes with freeciv. Hexemplio worked fine.
I also tried to use trident version for isotrident, but I think it's a bit too big. Especially next to coast, lots of the nets appear over land.

In civ2civ3 (current default) ruleset both Helicopter and Bomber do bombarding instead of regular attacks.
