Nope. FYI I could get your mqtx modpack to work. Now I'm focusing again in composing, so if you don't mind I'll check your builds later.cazfi wrote:Are you still affected by [http://gna.org/bugs/?21780]bug #21780[/url] script.lua loading problems? If yes, we need to debug what is causing it for you, to fix it.

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
Most soundsets (or musicsets, if we decide to have the two separate) patch #4559 separates them. Rationale being the user perspective: I don't want to be forced to use certain sounds just because I like musics in the soundset or vice versa. So there's also need to decide name for your musicset. :-)...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
We must find a way to so that I can send you the music files and you can test them too. Well, if you don't have specific reason not to, I'd say best way to proceed is that you create the tickets for adding the tracks yourself, and attach the track to that ticket: http://gna.org/patch/?func=additem&...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
? I'm missing some of the situations discussed in previous posts. On top of that, is it hard to assign multiple songs to the same tag so that it randomly selects one without ever repeating the same one? These are things still to implement. We've just got the first patch of the series made. OK. I'd ...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
OK great. I made it and I have freeciv-2.5.99-dev-gtk2 running. I'll start playing with stdsounds.soundspec see what I can do. Are there other tags other than: ;music_start = "" ;music_european = "" ;music_classical = "" ;music_tropical = "" ;music_asian = &qu...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
Are these instructions detailed enough: http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/Windows_Installer_Packet_Creation I followed the instructions in "First build" and everything went well until I typed "make gtk3-installer". Then I got: $ make gtk3-installer make GUI=gtk3 FCMP=gtk3 wrap-gtk3 ...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
Yes, once music is stopped, there's fade out, but with my current patch to make in-game music possible there's no handling of wait between stopping (starting to fade) one music and starting another. So music gets replaced with new one before it has time to fade. Fixing this have to wait a bit longe...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
Hi, good to see that this is moving! Most soundsets (or musicsets, if we decide to have the two separate) I think it is a good idea to have them separate. Rarely the same person will work on both. What OS you are using? Do you rely on others to build freeciv for you, or can you build development ver...

Re: Contributing a Soundtrack
It wouldn't be a problem to publish the music with GPLv2 if credit is given to me from freeciv. We give credits to artists in .soundspec file, and in http://freeciv.wikia.com/wiki/People, but any derivative work (as allowed by GPL) is free not to specify the artists. That's alright. Personally, I'd...
