Re: 11 new maps / Scenarios shared 2021-07 and later

A small scenario / map of about 2,300 tiles. Featuring a forest fragmented into 32 islands, each of which is different in shape, but all are almost exclusively forest and hills. Plenty of productivity, but not so much food for growth... Fast attack units such as horsemen and chariots won't be able ...

Re: 6 new maps (Scenarios)

Specials are missing from -all- maps which I create because I don't like them. Fair enough, if you don't like them. Personally, I like them since they force you to make a decision and give you a variety of options suited to your strategy but then again, that's preference. I'm not quite sure what &q...

Re: 3 new maps (Scenarios)

It's the shape of Hispaniola and to some degree the correct terrain but it's large enough for many cities. Congrats on your first scenario. If you allow me some critique: 1. Make them way smaller! Less is more. The game gets pretty boring if the distances between players are so big that they need a...

Re: Scenario start nation

Those scenarios were made ages ago and not really tested for gameplay balance. But you can edit the starting position or even alter the map if you want are more balanced game. longturn.net offers some fun and balanced games.

Re: gfx for scientist needed

Nice! However not sure if this pyramid is necessary, maybe this scroll from messenger would be sufficient and more clear.

Haha, the pyramid was too big. But Pythagoras needs his pyramid. I really wanted to be sure you can distinguish him from the emissary.

Re: gfx for scientist needed

Also his predecessor Philosopher (similar function, but steal random instead of target) would be also welcome.

Not the best. The emissary it's based on is a mess. I did it rather quickly. Greek Phi in the upper right corner. He is holding a pyramid.
