Re: Hey, what's happening
Version 2.6.11 is unplayable for me because for some reason a city window needs 5 seconds to open and another 5 seconds to close. Hello new guy :) You can also try Freeciv21. It's a fork from the original, basically the same game, but slightly changed stuff. You can find it ->here<- (look under &qu...

LT84 - New Longturn game starting in a few days; Royale (standard LTT) ruleset
The next Longturn game in line is scheduled to begin the start sequence near the end of this week. This means a few days of testing and final checkups. Longturn is a one-turn-per-day multiplayer variant of Freeciv where the server is constantly up and you can log in and make your move whenever it su...

Re: Freeciv Web Discord censorship log
Apparently, it is also forbidden to agree with people on FCW Discord and say things like "I wrote the same thing, but my post was deleted"

LT83 - Next longturn game scheduled to start in 2-3 weeks
The next Longturn game in line is scheduled to begin around end of February or beginning of March. Longturn is a one-turn-per-day multiplayer variant of Freeciv where the server is constantly up and you can log in and make your move whenever it suits you during the turn. A typical game usually lasts...

Re: Looking to play multi player.
Ok, I guess no harm in repeating. There are two major communities that play longturn. Apart from FCW mentioned above, there is Longturn.net - using and developing the native client and a few distinct rulesets. Our Dicord is at https://discord.gg/SpWeujW . I can recommend joining both servers and try...

Re: Is there data about probabilities for non-standard diplomatic attacks?
Poison City used to always success (civ2 compatibility, I guess). Nowadays it's under ruleset control whether diplchance is applied or not. See actions.diplchance_initial_odds. Yes, diplchance is a server/ruleset setting, but I'm not seeing any distinction between Poison City and other actions. I'm...

Re: How to define a non-base buildable extra?
No, I want to add it as a new type. If I want to build a Resort on a hill, "Irrigation" irrigates and "mine" mines. I need a new one.
Same for bases. I assume one is for fort and the other for airbase? Again, I need a new one, not overwrite the existing one.

Is there data about probabilities for non-standard diplomatic attacks?
Freeciv Wiki explicitly says that "diplchance" number does not apply for poisoning city action. But there is no other mention of those probabilities anywhere. Also, I've been told that probability for targeted tech steal is diplchance*diplchance, but, again, there is no record about it in ...
