Oh yeah, forgot to mention - I didn't record the scoreboard but about Turn 120, I noticed that my score was about 310 and he was about 430. Can't remember the exact turn.

One strategy is to make sure that the bombers are on top of a strong defensive unit e.g. a Mech Inf. So place your Mech Inf next to the city yo want to bomb, then move your bombers on top of the Mech Inf prior to bombing the city. The bomber will then end its turn on top of the Mech Inf. Btw, how does one "win" or end the web based multiplayer games? I was under the impression that one won either by a) Winning the space race, b) Being the sole survivor in the game i.e. killing off everyone else or c) being part of an Allied Victory i.e. all remaining survivors are allied ...

I seem to remember that in the original Civ2, pikemen obsoleted warriors.At an earlier time phalanx obsoleted warriors but I think it was changed from that to current version on civ2civ3 after people complained the lack of cheap units. Not sure if we should actually change that back.
