Re: Freeciv Longturn Web - The gossip section

Ok I need to make few comments. 1) Corbeau didn't give sources 2) Lexxie game no proof of the cheats and didn't tell what actually happened 3) in longturn.net games the admins are not observing everything since we consider this invasion of privacy 4) edit: longturn.net has virtually no cheating inci...

Re: [RANT] MP* rulesets are BORING!

Well. We have pretty much solved the issues with the early game on the recent longturn.net game with some help from someone who has actually been releasing commercial games and has been working professionally. Then again the help from the longturn.net community has been massive and while only a frac...

Re: What is LongTurn - intro

LT50 will be based on the multiplayer ruleset while most of the recent longturn.net games have been based on heaviliy modified civ2civ3 rulesets. The modified multiplayer ruleset is also called Multiplayer 3 (a working name) and it is changing the gameplay towards to most ever tested game format. Th...

Re: Notebook: Web MP ruleset extension(s)

I'm fairly sure this doesn't apply to Multiplayer+ ruleset and probably also not to Multiplayer 2. So... Does this apply to Multiplayer 3 (MP3) ruleset or is it about some other variant (Multiplayer Extended??) of the original multiplayer?

Re: Freeciv-web instances and GitHub repositories

...and I believe there will be one or two more flavor(s) in the future. What a great time to play Freeciv games with so many choices. My understanding is that some of the services are using less compatible modifications and that makers it tricky to support all the sites from one main repo. For examp...

Re: The signups for LT49 are open

Yes. Finally we'll have once again a game where the rules are not changed after the game has started :)
