Unnamed non-iso hex amplio tileset development

So, this is something I've started working on a little here and there. So far, I've only got a first draft of terrain1. Also it needs a name, though I've been using a working name of Sextamplio. Essentially, it's two amplio2 tiles stacked on top of each other, plus another chopped in half and stuffe...

Re: How to setup freeciv server

If it's just a regular game (ie you're both playing at the same time): One of you start the Server program of the version you want to use. -Make sure you hav...

Re: Two questions on Rulesets

In 2.5, you can only make them negate each other's effects in effects.ruleset. They'll still be buildable. Are you sure? I have this in my ruleset which I still haven't tested so I'm not sure if it really works as intended: reqs = { "type", "name", "range", "negat...

Re: Two questions on Rulesets

Hey guys. Question. Or two. First. How do I conditionally disable buildings in a ruleset? for instance, forcing the player to pick between two different Wonders. Having one constructed disables the other for the player. Or something like that. I recall Oracle and Hanging Gardens being mutually excl...

Re: Art required for freeciv proper (2.6)

FYI There's Feature #692596 touching amplio2 files and which I'm about to commit tomorrow. Please make sure you use it as a baseline for any amplio2 modifications so you don't override changes made by it. Oh drat. I do believe I forgot to make sure to do it to /ALL/ transparent pixels, but just don...

Re: my list of feature requests

Very little power ? Do you think microwatts, if not picowatts, are enough to power a space ship holding 10,000 to 40,000 people ? Solar panels are useless if there is no sun (hence the word "solar"). Nuclear generators would make more sense. But, hey, the game has always been this way and...

Re: my list of feature requests

About 8 years is not realistic, it's far too fast, realistically. And your former AI allies are trapped in an armistice for 15 turns, it's also far too fast for some all out war effort against your capital. Re: Your GTK UI Setup

AFAIK, GTK 2, 3, and 3.22 all have the same UI widgets. One minor difference, apart from the missing background discussed in another thread, GTK3 has the sidebar on the right. Apparently our examples are GTK2. Hmm. Mine is GTK3. So, I'm not sure what's going on. :P I know QT has an option to switch...

Can you guys mention which version of the GTK are they? Looks like GTK2.
